Store Assistant (Night Fill)

Night fill, weekends or month-end rush, a neighbourhood supermarket in Richards Bay needs extra hands. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll be based at a neighbourhood supermarket in Richards Bay. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
• Collect trolleys from the parking lot
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
• Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables

• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Grade 10 or matric
• Able to stand and lift cases all shift
• Neat appearance and punctual

• Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
• Own transport for route merchandising jobs
• Previous shelf packing or merchandising work

• Chance to move into till or department roles
• Paid training in store procedures
