Store Assistant (Night Fill)

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a neighbourhood supermarket in Sasolburg, so shoppers find what they came for. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

You'll be based at a neighbourhood supermarket in Sasolburg. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
• Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
• Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
• Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled

• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Neat appearance and punctual
• Polite with customers and happy to help
• Able to stand and lift cases all shift

• Own transport for route merchandising jobs
• Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
• Being 18 or older for liquor store roles

• Paid training in store procedures
