Job Description

Shoppers in White River judge a township shopping centre store by its shelves, and that is where you come in. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

The work is in White River, Mpumalanga, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What your day looks like

Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle

You'll need

Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
Grade 10 or matric
Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
Neat appearance and punctual
Basic reading and maths for price checks
Able to stand and lift cases all shift

Nice if you have

Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
Some till or cash-handling experience
