Job Description

Clients sleep better when their tax is sorted, and a financial planning practice in Mokopane needs you to sort it. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

You'll report in Mokopane. Relocation is not covered for this one. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What you'll actually do

Register clients for income tax, VAT and PAYE
Prepare VAT201 returns and review input tax claims
Calculate IRP6 provisional tax for individuals and companies
Advise on deductions such as retirement contributions and home office claims
Prepare and submit ITR12, ITR14 and ITR12T returns on SARS eFiling
Respond to SARS verification letters and upload documents on time

You'll need

Comfortable handling tax season overtime
Degree or diploma in accounting or tax
Neat, careful and organised with client documents
Working knowledge of the Income Tax Act and VAT Act
