Job Description

A fiduciary and trust company in Cape Town CBD needs a tax practitioner who knows eFiling inside out. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll report in Cape Town CBD. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What your day looks like

Keep client tax files complete for five years
Register clients for income tax, VAT and PAYE
Track filing season deadlines and send reminders to clients
Calculate IRP6 provisional tax for individuals and companies
Respond to SARS verification letters and upload documents on time
Draft objections and appeals with supporting schedules

Must-haves

At least 2 years of SARS eFiling experience
Registered tax practitioner with a recognised controlling body such as SAIT or SAIPA
Working knowledge of the Income Tax Act and VAT Act
Comfortable handling tax season overtime
Neat, careful and organised with client documents
