This hardware and paint supplier needs a rep in Fourways who knows the shops, the owners and the numbers. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Home base is a hardware and paint supplier on the Fourways side of Gauteng. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.

• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• Matric
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves

• A sales or marketing certificate
• Existing relationships with independent retailers

• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Product samples and staff pricing
• Cellphone and data allowance
• Branded uniform and safety boots
