Job Description

Out on the road for a beverage distributor in Mokopane, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

Home base is a beverage distributor on the Mokopane side of Limpopo. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

The work, day to day

Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.
Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.

You'll need

A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
Matric
Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
