You'll keep a day surgery clinic in George safe for patients by cleaning the way infection control demands. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

Location: George, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

• Move patients' belongings and equipment when rooms change
• Clean patient rooms using colour-coded cloths and mops for each area
• Wear gowns, masks and gloves as each room requires
• Fill in cleaning logs so infection control can audit the ward
• Disinfect bed rails, call bells and bedside lockers

• Not squeamish about blood, vomit or medical waste
• Respectful and discreet around patients
