Job Description

People get paid right and on time because of you at a payroll bureau in Cape Town CBD. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Home base is a payroll bureau on the Cape Town CBD side of Western Cape.

What you'll actually do

Declare UIF on uFiling and help staff with UI-19 forms
Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports
Calculate leave pay, notice pay and final pay under the BCEA
Compile bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates
Import clock-card data and check overtime against approved hours

You'll need

At least 2 years of full-function payroll
Reliable with deadlines that cannot move
Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
Matric plus a payroll certificate or diploma
You keep salary information private under POPIA
Comfortable with Excel reconciliations
