Time and Attendance Clerk (Factory) – Permanent

A hospitality group in Soweto needs a payroll person who never misses a cut-off. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

You'll be based at a hospitality group in Soweto. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Answer staff payslip queries clearly and in private
• Capture new hires, terminations, increases and deductions before cut-off
• Submit monthly EMP201 returns and pay PAYE, UIF and SDL on eFiling
• Declare UIF on uFiling and help staff with UI-19 forms
• Import clock-card data and check overtime against approved hours

• Reliable with deadlines that cannot move
• You keep salary information private under POPIA
• Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations

• SAPP registration as a Payroll Practitioner
• Experience with medical aid and pension fund reconciliations
• Knowledge of employment equity and WSP reporting
