You'll watch the screens and radios at a shopping mall security office in Ballito, and send help the moment something is wrong. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll be based at a shopping mall security office in Ballito. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Report camera faults and offline sites to the technicians
• Log every event and action on the monitoring software
• Dispatch the nearest response vehicle over the radio
• Pull and save video footage for incident investigations
• Hand over open incidents clearly at shift change

• Good memory for sites, streets and procedures
• No criminal convictions (vetting is done before you start)
• Matric
• Able to stay focused through 12-hour day and night shifts
• PSIRA registration, Grade C or higher

• Indoor, air-conditioned work environment
• Training on the monitoring software
