Job Description

Sharp eyes and a calm voice are the tools of the trade at an armed response control room in Brits. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

This post is in Brits (North West). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

The work, day to day

Keep call-out times and client passwords up to date
Track stolen vehicles on the map and guide recovery teams
Answer alarm signals and phone clients to verify them
Dispatch the nearest response vehicle over the radio
Monitor live CCTV feeds and zoom in on suspicious movement
Pull and save video footage for incident investigations
Hand over open incidents clearly at shift change

What you need

No criminal convictions (vetting is done before you start)
Good memory for sites, streets and procedures
PSIRA registration, Grade C or higher
Clear speaking voice on radio and phone
Computer literate and quick on a keyboard
