Job Description

Your reports shape real decisions at this logistics company in Springs, so they must be right. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Home base is a logistics company on the Springs side of Gauteng.

What you'll actually do

Run cash flow forecasts and manage the weekly payment run
Review creditors, debtors and payroll journals from the clerks
Run the month-end close and prepare the trial balance
Prepare monthly management accounts with variance commentary
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and clear old reconciling items

Must-haves

At least 3 years of post-qualification accounting experience
You meet month-end deadlines without being chased
BCom Accounting or equivalent degree
Working knowledge of IFRS or IFRS for SMEs

Nice if you have

Power BI or a similar BI tool
Consolidation experience across several companies
Completed articles at an audit firm
