Job Description

You'll plan the loads and watch the trucks for a courier operations centre in Tembisa, keeping every trip on time. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Location: Tembisa, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What you'll actually do

Book vehicle services, licence renewals and roadworthy tests
Check driver hours so nobody drives too long without rest
Capture trip sheets, fuel and toll costs on the system
Keep a register of PrDP and licence expiry dates for all drivers
Plan daily loads to use full truck capacity

What you need

At least 2 years in transport or logistics
Matric
Good with Excel and email
Able to work shifts in a 24-hour control office

Nice if you have

Transport management system (TMS) experience
Experience on a vehicle telematics platform
