Job Description

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a township shopping centre store in Cape Town CBD, so shoppers find what they came for. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll report in Cape Town CBD. Relocation is not covered for this one.

The work, day to day

Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled

Must-haves

Able to stand and lift cases all shift
Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
Polite with customers and happy to help
Grade 10 or matric

Helpful, not essential

Own transport for route merchandising jobs
Some till or cash-handling experience
Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
