Job Description

Start in retail here: a liquor store in Paarl trains packers who show up and work neat. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a liquor store on the Paarl side of Western Cape. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

What your day looks like

Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
Collect trolleys from the parking lot
Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves

What you need

Neat appearance and punctual
Grade 10 or matric
Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
Polite with customers and happy to help
Able to stand and lift cases all shift

Helpful, not essential

Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
Own transport for route merchandising jobs
