Job Description

Start in retail here: a liquor store in Polokwane trains packers who show up and work neat. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll be based at a liquor store in Polokwane. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What you'll actually do

Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
Collect trolleys from the parking lot
Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves

What you need

Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
Grade 10 or matric
Neat appearance and punctual
Polite with customers and happy to help

Helpful, not essential

Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
Some till or cash-handling experience
Own transport for route merchandising jobs
