Truck Loader (Night Shift)

Delivery days start early in Centurion, and a furniture retailer warehouse needs you on the bay before the trucks roll. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is Centurion-based, with most of your time spent at a furniture retailer warehouse. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
• Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts
• Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks

• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
• Friendly with customers at the door
• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Willing to travel on routes that return late

• A Code 8 or Code 10 licence (a route to becoming a driver)
• Past work as a driver's assistant
• Basic furniture assembly skills

• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Route-completion incentives in busy months
• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Meal allowance on long-route days
