Truck Loader (Night Shift)

You'll load and offload trucks at a cement and brick yard in Rustenburg so every delivery goes out full and correct. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

You'll report in Rustenburg. Relocation is not covered for this one. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals

• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
• Friendly with customers at the door
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
• No criminal record
• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips

• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Route-completion incentives in busy months

• If you are learning to drive, mention it. Depots like to grow assistants into drivers.
