Truck Loader (Night Shift)

You'll load and offload trucks at a container unpacking yard in Secunda so every delivery goes out full and correct. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a container unpacking yard in Secunda. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
• Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
• Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count

• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• No criminal record
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
• Willing to travel on routes that return late
• Friendly with customers at the door

• Past work as a driver's assistant
• A Code 8 or Code 10 licence (a route to becoming a driver)
• Speaking more than one local language for customer drops

• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Meal allowance on long-route days
• Route-completion incentives in busy months
