Job Description

Housekeeping keeps a conference hotel in Soweto running quietly in the background. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

This post is Soweto-based, with most of your time spent at a conference hotel.

What your day looks like

Hand in lost property with a written log entry.
Restock minibars, amenities and tea trays and note what was used.
Do evening turndowns with chocolates and curtain closing.
Strip beds, make them up with fresh linen and square the corners.
Vacuum, mop and dust rooms from top to bottom.
Report broken fittings, leaks and damage to maintenance.

What you need

You can finish around 14 rooms in a shift
Grade 10 or higher
You work neatly and notice a hair on a pillow
Honest and trustworthy around guest belongings

On offer

Staff transport from nearby townships for early shifts
Meals on duty
Uniform and protective gloves supplied
