Job Description

Here your industry experience becomes lessons for the next group of learners, at a public TVET college in Potchefstroom. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Home base is a public TVET college on the Potchefstroom side of North West.

What your day looks like

  • Sit in on workplace visits to confirm learners are doing real tasks
  • Load learner results onto the SETA or QCTO system
  • Give feedback on course materials so the next intake runs better
  • Assess portfolios of evidence and write clear feedback to learners
  • Keep attendance registers and learner files ready for SETA verification

You'll need

  • Registered assessor, with moderator registration for moderator posts
  • Relevant qualification at least one NQF level above the one you'll teach
  • Confident presenting to groups of 20 or more adults
  • Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Nice if you have

  • Trade test certificate for artisan training posts
  • Experience with learning management systems such as Moodle
  • SDF registration and WSP/ATR submission experience
