Undercover Floor Walker (Supermarket)

Blend in, watch closely and act lawfully: that is loss prevention at a fashion retail store in Mthatha. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

You'll report in Mthatha. Relocation is not covered for this one. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Help with stock counts and point out loss hot-spots
• Search staff bags at exit points according to store policy
• Tag high-value stock and check security tags at the doors
• Record every incident with photos, times and value of goods
• Share trends with the store manager each week
• Detain suspects lawfully and call SAPS, then write a statement

• Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4
• PSIRA registration, Grade C at least
• Knowledge of lawful arrest and search under the Criminal Procedure Act
• Able to handle confrontation calmly
• Available for retail hours including month-end weekends
• Good report writing

• Retail trading hours, no night shift in most stores
