Undercover Floor Walker (Supermarket)

Retail in Soweto runs on thin margins, and an electronics store needs someone guarding its stock. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

The work is in Soweto, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Walk the floor in plain clothes and watch for shoplifting behaviour
• Search staff bags at exit points according to store policy
• Check receiving bay deliveries against invoices and seal numbers
• Detain suspects lawfully and call SAPS, then write a statement
• Attend court as a witness when a case goes to trial

• Good report writing
• Able to handle confrontation calmly
• Available for retail hours including month-end weekends
• Discreet, observant and honest
• Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4

• Understanding of stock systems and shrinkage reports
• Experience giving evidence in court
