Van Sales Rep (Snacks & Confectionery)

Out on the road for a snack and confectionery wholesaler in Somerset West, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Home base is a snack and confectionery wholesaler on the Somerset West side of Western Cape. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.

• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• Matric
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience

• Speaking two or more local languages
• Existing relationships with independent retailers
• A sales or marketing certificate

• Cellphone and data allowance
• Branded uniform and safety boots
• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts

• Recruiters check your licence first, so attach a clear certified copy and note any clean driving record.
• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
