Van Sales Rep (Snacks & Confectionery)

This hardware and paint supplier needs a rep in Tembisa who knows the shops, the owners and the numbers. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a hardware and paint supplier in Tembisa. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.

• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• Matric

• Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
• A sales or marketing certificate

• Cellphone and data allowance
• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Product samples and staff pricing
• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts
