Voice-Picking Warehouse Assistant

This is steady, physical warehouse work at a building-supplies depot in Sasolburg, and nobody minds if it's your first job. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

This post is in Sasolburg (Free State). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule

• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• South African ID or a valid work permit

• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse

• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
