Waiter / Waitress (Evening Shift)

Good service at a wine farm restaurant in Secunda starts with you: friendly, quick and on top of every order. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

This post is in Secunda (Mpumalanga). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Set tables, polish cutlery and glasses, and check condiments before doors open.
• Greet guests, seat them and hand over menus within a minute of arrival.
• Mix cocktails, pour draught and serve shooters to spec at the bar.
• Refuse service to anyone under 18 or visibly drunk, as the Liquor Act requires.
• Check back two minutes after mains land and fix problems on the spot.

• Quick with basic maths and card machines
• Own transport or a safe way home after late shifts
• You speak clear English and can chat easily with guests
• Neat grooming and a friendly manner under pressure
• Happy to work nights, weekends and public holidays
• You can stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift
