Warehouse General Hand (Day Shift) – Experienced

Pick it right, pack it neat, send it out: that's the job at a pharmaceutical warehouse in Pretoria East. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

Home base is a pharmaceutical warehouse on the Pretoria East side of Gauteng.

• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker

• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)

• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner

• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
