Warehouse General Hand (Day Shift)

You'll keep a busy pharmaceutical warehouse in Secunda stocked, picked and moving out on time. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll report in Secunda. Relocation is not covered for this one. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns

• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)

• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation

• If you have done any stock counts, packing or even shelf work before, list it first. It shows you already know how to handle stock.
• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
