Job Description

Every order that leaves this online grocery fulfilment hub in Soweto passes through your hands first. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

The work is in Soweto, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What your day looks like

Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off

What you need

Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
South African ID or a valid work permit
You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred

Nice if you have

Basic computer skills for capturing counts
Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
