Warehouse General Hand (Day Shift) – Permanent

This is steady, physical warehouse work at a frozen-food distribution centre in Vereeniging, and nobody minds if it's your first job. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll report in Vereeniging. Relocation is not covered for this one. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule

• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• You can read product codes and count accurately

• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
