Warehouse Picker (Night Shift) – Permanent

You'll keep a busy pharmaceutical warehouse in George stocked, picked and moving out on time. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Location: George, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin

• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• South African ID or a valid work permit

• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate
• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner

• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
