Warehouse Picker (Night Shift) – Entry Level

Every order that leaves this building-supplies depot in Kathu passes through your hands first. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Home base is a building-supplies depot on the Kathu side of Northern Cape. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule

• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season

• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate

• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation

• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
