Warehouse Picker (Night Shift) – Fixed-Term

Pick it right, pack it neat, send it out: that's the job at a frozen-food distribution centre in Khayelitsha. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Home base is a frozen-food distribution centre on the Khayelitsha side of Western Cape.

• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin

• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• You can read product codes and count accurately

• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
