Warehouse Picker (Night Shift)

You'll keep a busy spares and hardware warehouse in Komani stocked, picked and moving out on time. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Location: Komani, Eastern Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin

• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves

• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate

• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals

• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
• If you have done any stock counts, packing or even shelf work before, list it first. It shows you already know how to handle stock.
