Warehouse Picker (Night Shift) – Immediate Start

This is steady, physical warehouse work at a pharmaceutical warehouse in Montague Gardens, and nobody minds if it's your first job. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

This post is in Montague Gardens (Western Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor

• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season

• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate
• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner

• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays

• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
