Warehouse Picker (Night Shift)

Every order that leaves this clothing distribution centre in Tembisa passes through your hands first. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Home base is a clothing distribution centre on the Tembisa side of Gauteng. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule

• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred

• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate

• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
