Weekly Wages Clerk (Mining Contractor) – Fixed-Term

A security services company in Roodepoort needs a payroll person who never misses a cut-off. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

This post is in Roodepoort (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Compile bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates
• Release the salary bank file for authorisation
• Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports
• Answer staff payslip queries clearly and in private
• Import clock-card data and check overtime against approved hours

• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations
• Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
• Matric plus a payroll certificate or diploma
• You keep salary information private under POPIA

• Bargaining council wage experience, such as MIBCO or the security sector
• Knowledge of employment equity and WSP reporting
• Experience with medical aid and pension fund reconciliations

• Structured increases linked to certification
