Job Description

The vehicle assembly plant in Kuruman needs operators who follow the standard work and speak up when something is wrong. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

You'll report in Kuruman. Relocation is not covered for this one. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

The work, day to day

  • Wear the correct PPE, including gloves, glasses and ear protection
  • Load and unload robotic welding cells safely
  • Keep your station clean using 5S rules
  • Take part in kaizen ideas to improve your station
  • Follow standard work sheets and quality checkpoints at every step

You'll need

  • Lives close enough to reach the plant on time for every shift
  • Good eyesight and hand coordination
  • Able to pass a basic literacy and numeracy test
  • Able to stand for a full shift and do repeat tasks without losing focus
  • Can follow written and visual work instructions
  • Grade 12 certificate
