Job Description

Steady 12-hour shifts at an office tower in Paarl for PSIRA-registered officers. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

The work is in Paarl, Western Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What you'll actually do

Hand out and collect contractor access cards
Open and close boom gates for residents, deliveries and contractors
Direct traffic and parking during school drop-off or big events
Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty
Patrol the perimeter on a set route and scan checkpoint tags

Must-haves

Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers
Alert, polite and firm with the public
Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred

Extra points for

First-aid Level 1 certificate
Previous experience at a similar site type
