Accounts Payable Administrator (Group Finance)

Every invoice, payment and bank line at this family-owned manufacturer in Mbombela goes through your hands. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a family-owned manufacturer in Mbombela. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Capture supplier invoices and customer receipts on Sage or Xero
• Load supplier payments on internet banking for authorisation
• Send customer statements and phone accounts that are over 60 days
• Run petty cash and file slips with proper supporting documents
• Reconcile bank accounts daily and clear unallocated items

• Bookkeeping certificate or diploma (ICB, FASSET learnership or similar)
• Practical skill in Sage Pastel, Sage Business Cloud or Xero
• Accurate with figures and careful with supplier bank details
• Good with Excel: VLOOKUP, pivot tables and simple formulas
• Matric with Accounting
• At least 2 years of hands-on bookkeeping or clerk work

• Paid study leave for bookkeeping exams
• Office hours with no weekend work
• Thirteenth cheque at many small firms
• Hybrid work after probation at some practices
