After-Hours Office Cleaner

People notice a clean government office building; in Brackenfell, you would be the reason it shines. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll report in Brackenfell. Relocation is not covered for this one. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Run a scrubber-dryer machine on large tiled areas
• Clean the kitchenette, wash cups and wipe down the fridge and microwave
• Wipe desks, door handles, lift buttons and light switches
• Empty bins and take waste to the correct recycling or general skip
• Clean glass doors and internal windows without streaks
• Sign the ablution checklist on the back of the door after each clean
• Clean and disinfect toilets, basins and urinals several times a shift

• Able to start early, often 05:00 or 06:00
• You take pride in a job done properly, even when nobody checks
• Clean criminal record for most corporate sites
• Comfortable using cleaning chemicals safely with gloves
• Grade 10 or higher
• Able to stand, bend and walk for a full shift

• Tea service or kitchen experience
• Training on a floor polisher or scrubber machine

• Uniform and cleaning gloves provided
• Permanent contract once the site contract is secured
• UIF and paid leave under the cleaning sector rules
• Paid overtime for weekend deep cleans

• Arrive neat and early for the interview. It is a small test of how you will arrive for a 05:00 shift.
• Mention any machines you can use, like a scrubber or polisher. Machine cleaners are harder to find and often get picked first.
