Job Description

You'll answer alarms across a suburban residential area in Pretoria West in a marked vehicle, armed and ready. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

The work is in Pretoria West, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What you'll actually do

Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details

You'll need

Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Calm under pressure and physically fit
Clean criminal record and no pending cases

Helpful, not essential

Knowledge of the local streets and sectors
First-aid Level 2 or 3
Advanced driving course
