Job Description

Clients in a mixed-use neighbourhood in Sandton pay for fast response, and this crew delivers it. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

This post is Sandton-based, with most of your time spent at a mixed-use neighbourhood.

What you'll actually do

Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs

Must-haves

Calm under pressure and physically fit
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
At least 2 years in guarding or response

Nice if you have

First-aid Level 2 or 3
Advanced driving course
