Job Description

When a panic button goes off in a mixed-use neighbourhood in Johannesburg CBD, you are the one who arrives first. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a mixed-use neighbourhood in Johannesburg CBD. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What your day looks like

Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs

What you need

Calm under pressure and physically fit
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
Clean criminal record and no pending cases
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
