Job Description

Serious work for a serious officer: armed response across a farming district in Soweto. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll report in Soweto. Relocation is not covered for this one.

The work, day to day

Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook

What you need

PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
Clean criminal record and no pending cases

Nice if you have

First-aid Level 2 or 3
Knowledge of the local streets and sectors
SAPS, SANDF or reservist background
