Job Description

Serious work for a serious officer: armed response across a farming district in Vereeniging. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Home base is a farming district on the Vereeniging side of Gauteng.

What you'll actually do

Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses

Must-haves

Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
Clean criminal record and no pending cases
At least 2 years in guarding or response
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)

Extra points for

First-aid Level 2 or 3
Advanced driving course
Knowledge of the local streets and sectors
