Job Description

When a panic button goes off in a farming district in Bellville, you are the one who arrives first. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Location: Bellville, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

The work, day to day

Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests

You'll need

Calm under pressure and physically fit
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
Clean criminal record and no pending cases
