Job Description

You'll answer alarms across a mixed-use neighbourhood in Boksburg in a marked vehicle, armed and ready. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

This post is in Boksburg (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

The work, day to day

Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs

Must-haves

Clean criminal record and no pending cases
SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
